Smart Traffic

As part of Pharos' Smart Navigator Services, Smart Traffic integrates with our industry-leading Ostia navigation software to give you real-time, easy-to-read, live traffic information, helping you see the road ahead on your Windows Mobile Pocket PC or Smartphone screen. By working with departments of transportation in metro areas around the country, Pharos is able to provide up-to-the-minute highway sensor data to your Pocket PC. Use any available internet connection or wireless link to connect to the Smart Navigator services and receive traffic information about your location, wherever you are. Smart Traffic lets you view traffic flow and events, allowing you to react to traffic conditions, before you get stuck in them. Simply connect to the Internet via ActiveSync from your desktop PC, WiFi (e.g., Starbucks, Wireless Hotspots), wireless modem or Pocket PC phone (Verizon, Cingular, T-Mobile, Sprint or other wireless carrier), or Bluetooth (with a Bluetooth enabled phone).
