Is there any documentation of the iGPS-500 connector?
I would like to use its LVTTL serial port directly without any adapter, but I would need the connector description.
Thanks in advance

may I have a copy of the specification as well?

I'd like to use the iGPS-500 and -360 (prev. one) for my hobby project.
It would be great if there is document on that. I looked up FAQ but i didn't see it.

Thx

P.S. sorry for not opening a new thread. Just thought this is related.

Thanks,

I am in the process of securing one of these under the faring on my motorcycle and would like to construct a custom cable to go from the IGPS-500 to my IPAQ hx4700 along with a power tap. I would like a copy of the pin-out of the IGPS-500 emailed to me if possible or a link to where I could download one from.

Please advise, I got iGPS 500 with serial cable connector for HP iPAQ but it appeared that my PDA (iPAQ 111) has only miniUSB connector.
As I may guess from the shape of the cable, there is some "USB - COM" converter in the bulb between iGPS and PS/2 connector.
Question is:
1) is it possible to take USB signals directly from iGPS500 chip
2) if yes than pinout of that chip is needed
Thanks

Hi,

may I add yet another request for the documentation of the GPS-500 connector. For a small home project I would like to use the device directly with an arduino microcontroller at TTL levels, if possible.

Thank you very much!

Much like the previous posters I am interested in accessing the device directly through the serial port without the usb dongle. This seems to be quite a popular request and it might make sense to post the information for everybody. Thank You for your help.
