I have Mac OS X and want to use the Pharos Trips and Pics I just bought. When I put the CD that came with the device in my laptop, it makes a lot of noises but never mounts. And when I plug the device with the USB attachment into my laptop, it also doesn't mount. I assume there are some drivers / software I need to install to make my laptop recognize the device. Can I download this software online / any suggestions about making this work?

Unfortunately, the Trips and Pics software only works on a Windows operating system. You can try to install some parallel software to allow your Mac to run a Windows OS, and perhaps then you will be able to install the trips and pics as well as install the necessary drivers to allow the computer to recognize out GPS receiver.
Please advise. Thank you
